Always Fits—Never Returned

May is a big month for most of us. School is winding down, summer activities begin, many graduations invitations are before us, and of course, Mother’s Day. For the Flaa household it is a month that Dad finds especially challenging in that we also celebrate Gloria’s birthday and our anniversary. And both of these latter events rightfully require the purchase of a couple nice gifts. Initially I tried clothes and shoes, but soon discovered that nothing ever fit, or it was not quite the right color and subsequently was returned. 

Maybe you have been there as well, finding what you consider the perfect gift only to have it not fit or returned for something else. Our text this week of Ephesians 5:21-30 is of great help to us as men, and I believe it details for us one gift that always fits and is never returned—being the man God intended us to be in our homes and in our marriage.
