Do you remember the days we all used a map to navigate when traveling? I was quite fond of them and loved opening the map (but finding them nearly impossible to fold up again!) and looking at all the roads, towns, and significant sites, and plotting our route from one place to the next. Of course, a map is largely a relic given Google Maps and so forth, but the point remains the same in both the “olden days” and modern day—we had access to something that would guide us to a destination. 

The same principle applies today and is evidenced clearly in Exodus 13:17-22. This Sunday, we will review this text in a sermon titled, "What Can I Expect When God Leads”?
