When we hear the word “pride” we often attach to it a negative connotation and that is one reason the verse of 2 Chronicles 17:6 has an appeal for us as it is used not in a negative fashion, but a very positive one. Another appeal stems from the fact that as we look to what gave rise to this pride we will see specific examples and application for us in our daily living.
